I. Product overview
1.1 Product description
Convection drying is a drying method that uses hot gas as a heat
source to remove the steam generated by the wet material during the
drying process of wet materials. It is generally called convective
drying. Convection dryers are commonly used for solid drying in
food technology, and it is the most widely used drying method. This
equipment can be used to study and demonstrate the convection
process. There are four corrosion-resistant removable plates for
drying solids, and they are placed in the drying tunnel. The plate
containing the solids to be dried is exposed to the air flow in the
channel. The flow of air heats the solids while removing the
released moisture. The air speed can be adjusted by the speed of
the fan. The adjustable heater allows air heating. Through the
transparent door, the drying process can be observed in the drying
tunnel. Digital balances can be used to track changes in the weight
of solids due to the evaporation of water during operation. Air
temperature and air relative humidity are measured and displayed by
a single temperature and humidity sensor before and after the
airflow passes through the solid. The other sensor measures the air
velocity.

transparent observation window can facilitate the observation of
the experiment process.
